Here are a few websites that you can use with your child at home:
- Oswego math games This site has games for specific math skills. We have played some of them in class.
- ABCya! Literacy Games This site has games for each specific grade level from Kindergarten-4th grade. It has both reading and math games. It is a good site for students to practice grade level skills!
- PBS kids This site has educational games that relate to PBS kids shows. It also has a link for parents with tips and tools to help your child.
- Starfall This is one of my favorite reading sites because it has stories, games, and songs that go along with specific phonics patterns.
- Funbrain This is a site that has math, reading, and arcade type games for kids. The reading page has online stories and Madlibsgames for students to create their own stories.
- Reading Resources for Parents Want to know how to help your child become a better reader? This page from the department of education has some great resources!
